Robert Charles, Sr., 68, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, died Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at 8:41 a.m. Wake services will be from 6-9 p.m. on Sunday at New Rising Sun Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 25, 2014. Burial will follow in St. Luke Baptist Cemetery in Dularge. He is survived by: his companion, Sandra Killion; two sons, Robert (Veta) Charles, Jr. and Renard G. Charles; daughter, Lynneisha Charles; sister, Joyce Judy Bolden; three brothers, James (Bernadine) Charles, Leroy (Rhonda) Charles and Larry (Theresa) Charles, Sr.; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Benjamin, Sr. and Sadie Westley-Charles; three brothers, Donald, Sr., Rinard and Benjamin Charles, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Eddie, Sr. and Rebecca Neville- Westley; and paternal grandparents, Edmond and Martha Harding-Charles.
