A Memorial Service will be held at 3:30 PM on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel 230 S. Hollywood Road, Houma, LA 70360         

Ronnie Morris was born April 17, 1963, in Houma, LA. to the late Gloria Dewey Morris and Roland Morris Sr.  On Saturday, December 2, 2023, he was called home as the trumpet was blown to forever be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Mr. Morris departed this life on Saturday, December 2, 2023 and leaves cherished memories to his two sons Cortez Robinson and Damian LaGarde of Houma, LA; four brothers, Roland Jr (Le’Necia) and Roland Billiot (Akeria) of Birmingham, AL, Patrick and Gary (Nicole) both of Houma, LA, and Christopher (Linda)Williams of Atlanta, GA., and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents Gloria Dewey Morris and Roland Morris Sr, maternal grandparents, Pete Dewey and Emma Nash Dewey and paternal grandparents Charlie Morris Jr. and Velma Lyons Morris, sister-in- law Regina Preston Morris, great nephew Roland K. Robinson as well as a host of relatives and friends.
