A public viewing will be conducted from 8:00 a.m. until funeral time at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, Janaury 23, 2021 at Jones Funeral Home chapel, 230 S. Hollywood Road in Houma. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Lisha Collins Thomas; daughters, Samantha Thomas and Shaundrica Cola; six stepchildren; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brothers, Billy and Henry Carter, Jr., Joseph, David and Julius Thomas; sisters, Doretha Western (Lionel) and Shirley Mitchell (Mack); and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by her parents, Rueben and Elnora Thomas Carter; paternal grandparents, Henry, Sr. and Harriet Carter; maternal grandparents, Danny and Cecilia Braxton.
