Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at the church. The funeral will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 2, 2015 at Plymouth Rock Baptist Church, 1000 Wallis St., Houma, LA 70360, with Rev. Blair Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in Southdown Cemetery.
He is survived by: his wife, Dorothy Rutledge Davis; two sons, St. Clair Delvin Davis, Sr. (Dina) and Ernest Davis; one daughter, Cynthia Davis Daigs (Brent); one sister, Yvonne Anderson (Raymond); six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, St. Clair, Sr. and Oretha Hendricks Davis; and one sister, Ethel Davis.
He was a retired educator and coach with the State of Illinois and Terrebonne Parish School Board and a US Army Veteran.
