Tammy Lynn Williams, age 38, a native and a resident of Houma, La., died Friday, August 3, 2012 at 10:25 PM at Terrebonne General Medical Center. Visitation will be Saturday, August 11, 2012 at Beautiful Zion Baptist Church, 102 Hialeah Avenue, Houma, La., from 10:00 AM until funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Halfway Cemetery in Gray, La. Tammy leaves to cherish her memories; her parents, Kenneth Gauche and Joyce Simms Gauche of Houma, La; her maternal grandmother, Sarah Williams Sims of Houma, La., her paternal grandmother, Anna Mae Lawson; two brothers, Donald Poindexter (Keya Ezell) and Michael Simms both of Houma, La; one sister, Shavon (Robert) Maize Short of Patterson, La; and a host of relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Isaac Sims, Jr., paternal grandfather, Marion Gauche, paternal grandmother, Mary Green Tember, maternal great grandmother, Lillie Lewis Miller, godparents, Oliver Kenny & Verlina VanBuren, aunts, Helen J.
