Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 28, 2017 at St. Matthews Baptist Church, 3966 Hwy 311 in Houma. Burial will follow in Southdown Cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Ernest Murray, Jr; daughter, Tynecha Baker; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sisters, Sylvia Ann Martin, Judy Ann Hill and Bessie Martin Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn Smith Martin and Tony Lester; sister, Mary Alice Dillard; grandparents, Alberta and Emmitt Smith.
