Veronica "Ronnie" Lynn Ruffin

Visitation will be observed on Friday January 6, 2017 at the Mount Zion Baptist Church from 9:00 AM until funeral services at 10:00 AM. Reverend Ronald Dorsey will officiate the services. Burial will follow funeral services in the Morgan City Cemetery.

Memories of "Ronnie or Ms. V", as she was known to many, will forever remain in the hearts of her two sons, Gerald Ruffin of Houston, TX and Jarvis Ruffin of Patterson, LA; one daughter, Lowanda Ruffin of Morgan City, LA; her father, Maurice D, Ruffin, Sr. and his wife, Donna Marie of Patterson, LA; a life-long friend and companion, Jacky L. Hamilton of Morgan City, LA; two brothers, Maurice D. Ruffin, Jr. of Patterson, LA and Michael D. Ruffin, Sr. and his wife Samantha of Morgan City, LA; two sisters, Dianna R. Darnell of Franklin, LA and Joslyn Anderson and her husband Kevin of Ocean Springs, MS; four grandchildren; a god-child, Tatyane Marie Ruffin and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Veronica was preceded in death by her mother, Lolette Favors Ruffin, a grandson, Terrell J. Ruffin; a sister, Wanda Jean Ruffin; a brother, Irvin Ruffin and both her maternal and paternal grandparents.
