Victoria Lawson Richardson

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at  St. Matthew Baptist Church 3966 LA-311, Houma, LA 70360. Burial will follow in the Crescent Farm Cemetery, Houma, LA. 

Victoria leaves to cherish her memories to her husband, Larry Richardson; 2 sons, James (Natalie) Ray, Jr. and Cayden Edwards; 2 Daughters, Linda Ray  (Ernest) Pierre and Niyolkie (Orenthiel) Ray Porter; 1 Stepson, Chad Richardson;  1 Stepdaughter, LaShawn Richardson; 4 brothers, Sherman (Bertha) Lawson, Isaiah Lawson, Sr., Robert Lee (Shirtley) Lawson, and Thomas ( Barbara) Joseph; 2 sisters, Monique Williams and Regina Lewis; 2 Sisters-in-law, Andrea Lawson, and Leslie Johnson; twelve grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren; and one godchild, Erica Poindexter. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elijah and Evaline Myles-Lawson, Sr., 4 brothers, Zilton, Clarence, and Elijah Lawson, Jr., and Kevin Johnson; 4 sisters, Betty Mae McGuire, Edna Lawson, Petronell Lawson Shelvin, and Olivia Lawson; one grandson, Jayden Ray: son-in-law, Sterling Pierre, Sr.; and brothers-in-law, Claude McGuire and Alton Shelvin; and Sister-in-law, Geraund Lawson.
