Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at St. Luke Baptist Church, 3755 Bayou Black Drive. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife Veralyn Chapman Coleman; sons, Kevin (Laura) Coleman, Bruce Coleman (Sharhonda) and Dana (LaTanya) Coleman; daughters, Cheralyn Coleman (companion, Edward J. Shaw) and Doris (Hayward, III.) Allen; thirteen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; brothers, Benjamin (Liana) Coleman and Freddie (Catherine) Coleman; sister, Rosetta Coleman; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Will, Sr. and Albertha Jackson Coleman; sisters, Dorothy C. Stewart and Carrie C. Redmond; and grandparents.
