Willie Smith, Jr.

A public viewing will be conducted from 12:00 p.m. until funeral time at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Jones Funeral Home chapel, 230 S. Hollywood Road in Houma. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Rita Vincent Smith; sons, Isiah, Lawrence, II., Anthony and Willie Vincent; daughters, Lynell Smith, Leslie Nicholls, Mercedes, Clairese, Ka'Shari, Cecile, Selena and Tawanda Vincent; twenty-seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; brothers, Cantrell Jasper, Hilton, Jr. and Berwick Smith, Sr.; sisters, Clara Nixon, Ruby Bennett, Eileen Johnson, Darlene Robinson and Naomi Ricks; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Vanessa Vincent; sons, Lawrence, Dominique, Charles and Michael Vincent; three grandchildren; parents, Willie, Sr. and Gloria Bolden Smith; paternal grandparents, Hayes and Dorothy Knightshed; maternal grandparents, Herman and Genevia Bolden.
