Abby Katherine Lee, 97, passed away on February 3, 2026. Born in New York City on July 17, 1928, Abby filled her life with family, love, and home. She was a devoted wife, mother of six, grandmother to fourteen, and great-grandmother to eleven. For 20 years, she was a school teacher in the Bronx, shaping young lives before moving to Houston in 1990. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry (1999), and her daughter, Barbara (2015). Abby’s warmth, laughter, and thoughtfulness touched everyone around her. Her love and the memories she created will live on forever in the hearts of her family and all who knew her.
A visitation will be held at Brookside Funeral Home - Cypress Creek, 9149 Hwy 6 No, Houston on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 5–8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St.Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 6646 Addicks Satsuma Rd, Houston on Monday, February 9, 2026 at 11a.m.
