Adela Gonzalez

Adela is preceded in death by her husband Cruz Gonzalez, her parents Gregorio and San Juana Ambriz and Sister Maria Trinidad Hodges. She is survived by her children, Celsa Juana, Francisco (Griselda), Isabel Gonzalez (Albert Shelton), Jorge Luis, Jose Cruz and Judith Fox (Terence Fox), 13 grandchildren,17 great grandchildren, 5 sisters, and 2 brothers.

Our mother loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren fiercely. She was a great mother-in-law. She loved her siblings and was always concerned for their well-being. She loved the Lord with all her heart and was a woman of great faith. Despite her failing health and struggles, she always had her eyes fixed to the Lord from where her help came from. Her heart was always in prayer for her family and friends.

Adela loved to sing to the Lord and was always sitting with her bible in front of her reading scriptures that carried her day by day.

Her many years of working for Looscan Elementary gave her the opportunity to continue with so many friendships especially one who always stayed in touch, Margaret Jacobs.

She will be greatly missed but our hearts are at peace knowing that our mother is no longer in pain and free from the cares of this world. She joins the angels in heaven as they worship the Lord above, dancing, walking and running on the streets of gold.

May you rest in peace, beloved Mother, until we meet again.
