

“Angie/Aunt Gigi” was born on January 11, 1941 to Luis Santos and Adelina Salinas-Santos in Houston, Texas.
Adeline has been retired for approximately 12 years from the University of Texas Health Science Center, Houston Dental Branch, where she worked for 26 years. Prior, she worked seven years for Baylor College of Medicine, Medical Center, Dept. of Urology. Adeline was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church for 43 years and was active in several senior clubs.
Adeline was predeceased by her husband, Amos Hardy Scoggin, Jr., both parents, Luis and Adelina Santos, sister and brother in-law, Julia and Dock Shem, sister, Dora Hernandez, brother in-law, Lupe Vasquez, and uncle, Eloy Salinas. Surviving relatives include sisters, Madeline Vasquez, Eloise Ramirez, and Elissa Reyes and her husband Richard, brother, Richard Santos, aunt, Mary L. Morado, and numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be at Pat H. Foley starting at 5:00pm till 8:00pm on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 with a Rosary at 7:00pm. Funeral Service will be at 10:00am on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 4213 Mangum Road, Houston, Texas 77092. Interment will be at Forest Park Westheimer.
