

Adolph attended Cuero High School but enlisted in the U.S. Army - Air Corp while still in school. He was honorably discharged in August 1949, and moved to Houston, Texas, where he worked as a barber and delivery driver for a number of years before beginning a long career in the meat packing business. He retired after working at Mims Meat Co. for many years as a driver, work crew supervisor, and security guard. He was a member of Beth Yeshua HaMashiach & BSF International and had a passion for missionary work.
Adolph is preceded in death by his second wife, Melba Stibbs Guerra (d.2015) and his first wife Beatrice Lozano Guerra (d.2021); parents, Josefa Ruiz and Baltazar Guerra; sons, Benjamin Guerra, and Daniel Stibbs Gutierrez; grandchild, Jesse Flores; siblings, Ramon Guerra, Ruperto Guerra, and Margarita Guerra.
He is survived by his children, Adolph R. Guerra Jr., David Stibbs, James Stibbs, and Anna Marie Contreras; grandchildren, Melanie Guerra Barosh, Mark Anthony Guerra, Matthew Austin Guerra, Marissa Rene Guerra, Benjamin Guerra Jr., Jaime Gutierrez, Alejandro Gutierrez, Melba Alice Best, Sterling Gutierrez, Jacob Riojas, Daniel Gutierrez Jr., and Erica Gutierrez; great grandchildren, Isabella Monet Barosh, Elianna Michelle Barosh, Cash Harrison Barosh, Elijah Ray Barosh, Silas Benjamin Barosh, Josiah Montgomery Barosh, Timothy Joseph Barosh, Amelia Rose Barosh, Joshua Flores, Jeremiah Flores, Janna Flores, Jarod Riojas, and Joseph Riojas.
Serving as pallbearers are James Stibbs, Jose Contreras, Mark Anthony Guerra, Matthew Austin Guerra, Alejandro Gutierrez, Sterling Gutierrez, Cash Harrison Barosh, and Elijah Ray Barosh.
