Alan Lynn Moore

Alan was preceded in death his by parents, Henry Wayne Moore and Dorothy Leona Fitchner Moore.

He is survived by his only child, Clinton Stewart Moore; his sister, Janice Elaine Thompson; and three nieces, Alaina Danielle Mertz; Janelle Dee Fancher and children Christopher David Daniel and Carley Jane Daniel; and Tiffany Lynn Furleigh and children Katelyn Elaine Furleigh and Kolvann Lee Webster.

Alan, as he was known to his school mates and work associates, or Lynn, as he was more affectionately known by his family and early church associates was born in Houston, Texas on December 10, 1946. His parents attended church regularly and raised him in a Christian home. He continued in that tradition with his son.

A visitation for Alan will be held Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A committal service will occur Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039.
