

Albert Anderson was born on August 17th, 1934 in Saint Louis, Missouri - City Hospital No. 2. He was the only boy of three children born to Emma Bentley (mother) and John Henry Anderson (father). His two sisters Willie Mae Anderson (1928-2019) and Rosie Lee Anderson (1931-1969) preceded him in death. Albert went to Vashon High School in Saint Louis, Missouri. Albert enlisted into the military on October 15th, 1951, where he served in the Air Force stationed in Randolph Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. On July 24th, 1954, Albert was honorably discharged from the Air Force after serving for more than three years.
Two years later in 1956, Albert would father his first child Rhonda Rhone at the age of twenty-two. That same year, Albert married Vera Mae Randle on June 25th ,1956. Albert and Vera bore two children, Cynthia Marie Anderson (Scaife) born March 5th, 1959, and Albert Anderson Jr born July 23rd, 1960.
Albert worked for Landow Carpet Company from 1954 to 1977 for almost twenty-three years before making the decision to work for himself. Albert would go on to launch a successful carpentry and flooring business that sustained his lifestyle for more than 30 years. A lifestyle that included a beautiful home in the suburb of Saint Louis county.
Albert met his last wife, Elaine Doris (Jones) Anderson in 1961. Albert and Elaine married on May 28th, 1963, and to this union bore responsibility for Paul Edward Anderson who was legally adopted in 1987. Albert enjoyed bowling, fishing, working on automobiles, and coaching baseball. Albert would spend more than a decade devoted to coaching young men on and off the field. In 1990, Albert coached his team to the Khory League national championship in Paducah, Kentucky.
In 2012, Albert was widowed by the untimely passing of his late wife Elaine Anderson. Four years later, Albert moved to Texas to be closer to his children and grandchildren. In Texas, Albert would spend almost six years together with his life-long friend and running mate Richard Daily who preceded him in death.
Albert leaves to cherish his memories: four children, Rhonda Rhone, Cynthia Scaife, Albert Anderson Jr., and Paul Anderson and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A visitation for Albert will be held Thursday, June 9, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A reception will occur Thursday, June 9, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A funeral service will occur Friday, June 10, 2022 from 10:30 AM to 12:15 PM, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A committal service will occur Friday, June 10, 2022 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038.
