He was born to Luis J. Pabon and Isabel Jerez in Malaga, Colombia on October 7, 1942. Growing up, he was surrounded by his brothers and sisters who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his mother and father and survived by his daughter Maria Alexandra Pabon-Clark (Michael Clark), son Andres Alberto Pabon (Christy Pabon), daughter Isabel Pabon (Eduardo Vargas), and his grandchildren Adriana Pabon, Alexander Pabon, Alan Rieansnider, Seth Clark, and Joshua Clark. In his early 20’s he moved to Venezuela where he worked as a publicist and salesman, a profession that he continued for most of his life. In the early 2000’s he ventured to the US where he spent his last years. Those close to him knew him as a loving father, devoted son, faithful brother, and unconditional friend. He loved music and dancing, bullfights, soccer, reading, and crossword puzzles. He enjoyed debating infinite topics, while finding humor in all and everything. He was happiest surrounded by family and friends.
A hopeless romantic who loved many without expectation of return, he knew the pain and beauty of a broken heart. His humble nature allowed him to understand the benefits of loyalty and discretion. Never afraid to make a mistake in life, he lived his life to the fullest.
He leaves a legacy of laughter and love, and will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he touched.
