

Alex J. Flood, 20, passed away on April 17, 2010. He was born December 1, 1989 in Houston, Texas. Alex graduated from Cy Fair High School and was currently attending Lone Star Community College majoring in creative writing.
Alex was a gifted and avid guitarist who also wrote music. His many writings included short stories, poems, and lyrics. Alex was a sportsman who enjoyed fishing, skate boarding and target shooting. He also loved riding his motorcycle and driving his car around the track. We will always remember him for his love of the outdoors and his magnetic personality that drew everyone to him. Alex was open and accepting of all people.
His is preceded in death by his beloved uncle, Larry Flood; paternal grandparents, Sgt. Major John and Marie Flood; maternal grandfather, Bill Stigall.
Alex is survived by his loving parents, John and Alice Flood; grandmother, Lou Stigall; uncles, Jim Flood and Robert Stigall; aunts, Lori Flood and Syndey Flood; cousins, Shebi and Darbi Flood and Leigh Stigall; and the extensive host of friends that were his brother and sisters.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 22, 2010 at 3:00 PM in the chapel at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home.
