Alicia Lynn Austin

Alicia was born on January 6, 1980, in Plainview, Texas. She graduated from Jersey Village High School, Houston TX in 1999 and was known for her infectious smile, kind spirit, and warm heart. Alicia spent much of her life working in retail, where she built meaningful relationships and brought a bright, welcoming presence to every place she worked. Her laughter and positive energy were felt by all who had the pleasure of working with her.

Alicia's greatest love was for her children, Brandon Austin (24) and Jasmine Austin (19), both of Tomball, TX. She was a dedicated and loving mother who poured her heart into raising them. Her children were the center of her world, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Alicia is survived by her children and parents, Donna Austin and Randy Austin, her sister Mirandi Edwards and husband Allen Edwards; her nephew, Tye Edwards; and her brother, Cody Schroeder. Alicia is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who will forever hold her in their hearts.

Alicia was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Jack and Ann King of Houston, TX, and Billy Gene and Mary Alice Austin of Olton, TX, as well as her cousins, Kelsey Elkins of Brownfield, TX, and Travis Lennox of Pattison, TX.

Alicia’s passing leaves a profound emptiness in the lives of all who knew her. She will be remembered for her boundless love, generosity, and the bright light she brought to those around her.

A memorial service to celebrate Alicia’s life will be held at Brookside Funeral Home, 9149 Hwy 6, Cypress Creek, 77095, on February 11, 2025, at 2:00 PM. A celebration of life will be held at a private family home on Sunday, February 16, 2026, in Waller, Texas.
