

Allen is survived by his wife of 34 years, Julia Renee Kulhanek, his two sons: Allen Kulhanek Jr, and Brandon Kulhanek; his daughter-in-law, Natasha Camacho and his grandson, Cyrus Peter Camacho Kulhanek.
Allen is remembered by his father Roy Kulhanek Sr, brothers Roy Kulhanek Jr, Michael Mott, siblings-in-law, Cindy and Mike Smith, Connie Klose, Angela and Kent Duncan, and his aunts Doris Lake and Maxine Dominey. He also leaves behind his beloved dog, Cleo who stayed by his side to the very end.
His memory lives on with his nieces and nephews: Brian Kulhanek Jr, Bryant Lehew, Joshua Lehew, Michael Smith, Hannah Zientek, David Duncan, Zachary Duncan, Kaylee Lehew, Kathryn Mott, and Ariana Mott.
He is preceded in death by his mom, Betty Jean Dominey Kulhanek, brother Brian Kulhanek Sr, and his in-laws, Robert, and Patsy Lehew. He was also predeceased by his Grandparents John and Adela Kulhanek and Ellis and Lydia Dominey as well as brother-in-law Kenneth Lehew and uncles Lester Dominey, Leonard Dominey, Jerry Kulhanek Sr, and John Kulhanek.
Allen was born and raised in Houston, Texas but spent his weekends and summers in Fayetteville, Texas where developed a love for hunting, fishing, and working on cars. Allen graduated from Scarborough High School in 1989. He began working as a mechanic, eventually opening his own shop in Houston.
In 1990, he married Julia, who he affectionately referred to as Renee. His greatest prides were his two sons, Allen Jr and Brandon. They created many memories together and enjoyed fishing and working on cars together. Although their time together was short, becoming a PawPaw to his grandson Cyrus filled Allen with unbridled joy.

The family will be hosting a memorial service in Allen's honor on March 29, 2025 from 1:00-2:30pm at Pat H. Foley Funeral Home located at 1200 W. 34th St, Houston, TX 77018.
