Allison Joy Campbell, age 41, of Houston, Texas, was called home to be with the Lord and entered into His eternal rest on Tuesday, the 30th of December 2025. Just as Scripture promises that “to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord,” Allison stepped peacefully into the arms of Jesus.
Allison was born with a heart for others and a calling to teach. She graduated from Texas State University with her teaching degree, answering her purpose through education. Her passion for shaping young minds led her to serve in several schools throughout her career, but her greatest professional joy was found in her 15 dedicated years at Bunker Hill Elementary School. To many, she was not just a teacher but a mentor, encourager, and light in their lives.
Allison was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a steadfast woman of faith. As a pastor’s daughter and a devout Christian, she lived out her beliefs with humility, compassion, and grace. She found her greatest fulfillment in being a mother to her precious daughters and a wife rooted in love and covenant.
Allison is survived by her devoted husband, Thomas Campbell; her beloved daughters, Jaycee Grace and Rhyan Joy; her mother, Jan Paine; Step father Allen Paine; her brother, Daniel Wright; Sister in Law Michelle Wright and their children Zak and Bella Wright; her sister, Anna Wright and her Daughter Lois; Her Mother and Father in law Douglas and Nelda Campbell and her Brother in law Andrew Campbell; as well as her father Steven Wright. She is also held in loving memory by countless students, coworkers, church family, and friends whose lives were forever changed by her presence.
Allison is preceded in death by her grandparents J.C. and Daisy Higgins and Edna Wright.
