Alvin Jessie Stevens Jr.

Alvin Jesse Stevens Jr., son of Brenda M. Harrison was born on October 13, 1968 in Houston, Texas. He attended public schools in the North Forest Independent School District where he was an active member of the ROTC, Band and National Honor Society.

At an early age, he was baptized at New Faith Missionary Baptist Church and was a dedicated member.

His life will forever remain in all who knew him...

Alvin entered eternal rest on January 21, 2017. He was proceeded in death by Grandmother Ellen Morris and Aunt Mary Malone. He leaves to cherish his memories, Mother Brenda M. Harrison; 2 Sisters Kathy Slaughter-Dixon and Lisa K. Slaughter; 5 Nieces - Erica Slaughter-Higgins (Adrian), Elena Slaughter, Raven Mota (Benny), Doneshea Antwine and Aubrin Antwine; 1 Nephew Kevin Slaughter; 3 Great Nephews – Brian Joseph, Braylen Joseph and Arian Mota and 2 Great Nieces – Breonna Joseph and Jordyn Slaughter; Wife Brenda Stevens; 3 kids Shanetria, Larry and Brenneshia along with Grandkids Freddy Davis III, Desmond Williams, Malkaya Williams, London Gray, Brennaiyun Richardson, Hereon Bougere and Emery Johnson; An Uncle Kenneth Morris and a multitude of loving family and friends.

God of grace and glory, we remember before you today, Alvin Stevens Jr. We thank you for giving him to us, to know and to love as a companion in your pilgrimage on earth. In our boundless compassion, console us who mourn. Give us your aid so we may see in death that gate to external life, that we may continue our course on earth in confidence until, we are reunited.
