Aneta married Charles Daniel Cupp on March 8, 1980, and together they raised their son Daniel E. Cupp. They were proud of Daniel who graduated Magna Cum Laude at the University of Houston. Daniel passed away when he was twenty four years old.
Aneta graduated from the University of Houston and received a Master’s degree in Education which lead her to a career as a public school teacher for H. I.S. D. then a teacher at a private school, Memorial Hall, for
twenty one years. She was the City of Houston Music Director for public parks doing music classes and sing along activities for kids for several years. Aneta had a passion for playing the piano and had twenty one pianos in her music room. Her joy in life was teaching music to her Elementary School students. She was teacher of the year twice and runner – up several times at H.I.S.D. Once she turned down being teacher of the year, AGAIN! She was also a huge baseball fan and enjoyed cheering on her favorite team the Houston Astros. Aneta was diagnosed with cancer five years ago and given six months to live. During that time she needed to use a wheelchair but found joy going to Memorial Park. She liked being with people feeding the birds just to get outside and enjoy the sunshine while making several new friends.
