

Pepita was born on Tuesday the 4th of November 1941, in Lima, Peru. She was the mother of six children and resided in Bellaire, Texas for most of her years. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, gardening, and laughing with her family and friends. She never turned down an invite to a party or a trip. She was admired for her giving spirit, compassion for all, infectious smile and laugh, and ability to find humor throughout her life. Pepita touched all of our hearts and was a cherished friend to many.
Pepita is survived by her six children and their spouses, Roger Lassus, Anabel Daily, Silvia Schwalm and husband Christian, Eddie Delaney and wife Jennifer, Kevin Delaney, and Estelle Joyner and husband David; and her grandchildren, Kimberly Cunningham, Evan, Joshua, Andrew, and Eliana Blumfield, Blake, Ashley, and Ella Joyner, Neil Daily, Celine Lassus, Thomas and Julia Delaney, and Steven Schwalm; and one great-grandchild, Kaylynn Cunningham.
Friends are cordially invited to visitation with the family from five o’clock in the afternoon until eight o’clock in the evening on Monday, the 24th of February, in the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston, where a recitation of the Holy Rosary will commence at half-past six o’clock.
Following a private Rite of Committal at Forest Park Westheimer Cemtery, a Memorial Mass is to be offered at half-past one o’clock in the afternoon on Tuesday, the 25th of February, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 1801 Sage Road in Houston, celebrated by the Rev. Wayne W. Wilkerson, Pastor.
Flowers in memory of Pepita can be sent to Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, or memorial contributions in memory of Pepita may be directed to the Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.
