Angelina Corpus

Angelina Corpus, 94, of Houston, Texas completed her earthly mission on January 27, 2026. She was born in Houston, Texas on November 2, 1931, to parents Rodolfo Raul Corpus and Maria Soledad Corpus. She shared God’s love with all that she met and her faith inspired many. She could always be relied upon to pray for anyone who requested or needed prayers. Angelina worked at Riviana Foods for 31 years. She was a beloved member of Our Lady of St. John parish and had a passion for practicing her Catholic faith, praying the rosary at least daily, and working on puzzles.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Rodolfo Raul Corpus and Maria Soledad Corpus, sisters: Dolores Martinez and Veronica Ruiz, great-grandchildren: Adryien, Rose Mary, John Nathan, Thomas (& Twin), Baby Ordaz, and Matthew.

She is survived by children: Virginia Flores (Robert), Sylvia Reese (David), Jesse Ordaz Sr. (Athena), Jesse Ordaz Jr. (Marissa). Grandchildren: Robert (Betty Jo), Joe (Elizabeth), (Jennifer), Regina (Alejandro Jr.), Mark (Natalie), Monica (+Juan), Tracy (Carl), Theresa (Chris), Bryan (Monica), and Alyssa. Nephews Jason, Anthony, and Tristian. Great-Grandchildren Nathaniel, Samuel, Matthew, Marissa A., Viviana, Sierra, Isaac, Joe III, Elexis, Marissa, Jace, Jaden, Prescilla, Juan Jr., Robert Jr., Victoria, Jada, Khole, Carl Jr., Angelina, Bryan Jr., Adien, Michaela, Jesse III, Joseph, John, Teresa, Damien, Gabriel and 10 great-great grandchildren. Along with numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.

Serving as Pallbearers are: Joe Soto Jr., Bryan Soto, Robert Flores Jr., Alejandro Guerrero Jr., Chris Aviles and Carl Ramirez. Honorary Pallbearers: Carl Ramirez Jr. and Jesse Ordaz III.

A visitation will be held at Brookside Funeral Home, located at 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX, 77039, on February 9, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A rosary will also take place at the same location on February 9, 2026, at 7:00 pm.

The funeral mass will take place at Our Lady of St John Church, 7500 Hirsch Rd, Houston, TX, 77016, on February 10, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

The committal will follow at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX, 77039, on February 10, 2026, from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm.
