Angelo Richard Padilla

Angelo R. Padilla, 84 went to be with his lord and savior on November 28, 2009. He was born on August 2nd, 1925 in Des Moines, IA to Enriqueta Perez de Padilla and Salvador Padilla. He served his country honorably in both the Army and Marines and was a graduate of University of California at Santa Barbara. He was owner of Padilla Construction Co. for 35 years and served on the board of directors of New Directions. He was preceded in death by his son Scott Padilla, brother's Domingo Padilla, Joseph Padilla, Paul Padilla, Salvador Padilla, sister's Connie Espinoza and Eleanor Olivera. He is survived by his loving wife Carolyn Padilla of 32 years; children; Rae Francoeur, Leigh Padilla, Robyn Young; stepdaughters; Terrie Reed, Pamela Ramsey, Judy Tridico; 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He leaves behind his family and many wonderful friends who will greatly miss him. Angelo will forever be in our hearts. The Family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 2, 2009 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm in the Hunters Creek Chapel of Earthman Funeral Directors, 8303 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77024. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 6646 Addicks Satsuma Road, Houston, Texas 77084. Rite of committal with Military Honors for family members will be at a later date at Houston National Cemetery.
