

She graduated from Lamar High School and Rice University and received her Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Houston. During her career, she worked as the Houston Vista Volunteers coordinator, as a social worker at Hermann Hospital in both the Transplant and Kidney Dialysis units, and at the Harris County Psychiatric Hospital, working with teens.
During her lifetime, she was a volunteer at the Houston Public Library, Houston Convention and Visitors Bureau, Harris County Democratic Party, and her favorite, as a docent at the Houston Zoo.
She married John C. Reynolds whom she met and married while a student at Rice.
She is survived by her daughter, Jeanne Reynolds and her son-in-law, Glenn Sheinfeld; her daughter, Lynn Reynolds; granddaughters, Lauren King and her husband Taye, and April Evans and her husband Ryan Hudson; and her great-grandson, Max Hudson.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from ten o'clock in the morning until twelve o'clock noon on Sunday, the 12th of October, in the drawing room of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston.
