

Born in Wichita Falls, Texas to Edward D. and Dorothy B. Vickery. She lived in Sugar Land, Texas and spent her time enjoying family and friends, traveling, gardening, leading Bible Studies and telling others about her Lord and Savior.
Anne graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. She went on to teach elementary school for 2 years before choosing to become a full time Mom (she often said this was the best job ever!). She served as a Director for both Tradition Bank and Texas Coastal Bank beginning in 1995. She was on the Board of Fort Bend County Family Health Center from 1981-1991 and served as Board President from 1983-1985. Her most favorite position was being a Bible Study Leader at The Women’s Home from 1997-2007. Anne also served the Austin Theological Seminary as a Trustee for several years. She attended Memorial Drive United Methodist Church in Houston.
Anne was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy B. Vickery and her father, Edward D. Vickery. She is survived by her daughters, Beth Stevenson Ollre and her husband Doug, and Tracey Stevenson Flessner and her husband, Lance. Grandchildren Kimberly, Gil, Cody, Joe, Hadley and Max. Great Granddaughters Abigail and Elyza. Brother Downy Vickery and his wife, Kavin, and daughter Shannon Parker.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from five o’clock in the afternoon until seven o’clock in the evening on Friday, the 12th of January in the Parlor and Grand Foyer of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston.
