

A strong-willed woman and beloved matriarch of her family, Annette was known for her determination, wisdom, and unwavering presence. She carried herself with strength and dignity throughout her life and was someone her family could always rely on for guidance, honesty, and support. Her love for her family was evident in everything she did, and her legacy will continue through the generations she helped shape.
Annette was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Cecil Bethany, and her five siblings.
She is survived by her son, Chris Bethany, and daughter-in-law, Lisha Bethany; her granddaughter, Rachel Buzonas, and Rachel’s spouse, Ben Buzonas; and her soon-to-be great-granddaughter, Chandelle, whose upcoming arrival brought Annette much happiness. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, including Kim Rhodes, with whom she lived during the last year of her life.
Annette will be remembered for her strength, her enduring love for family, and the lasting impact she had on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Though she will be deeply missed, her spirit and influence will remain forever in the hearts of those she loved.
Visitation will be held at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039, US, on May 18, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, followed by the Funeral at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039, US, on May 18, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
