

She was a native Houstonian, born on the 31st of July 1944 to the late Michael Thomas Lorino and Josephine Rita Lorino. Annette was preceded in death by her loving parents, her father 28 years ago this July and her mother 6 months ago, her grandparents, the late Annie and Sam M. Lamonte, and the late Rosalie(Lilly) and Pete Lorino. Annette grew up on the East End of Houston, attended Queen of Peace Catholic Grade School, Jackson Jr. High, and Jeff Davis High School. Annette had numerous friends she loved to play cards with and made casino bus trips with on many occasions. Annette had a spirit like no other, even with her many health challenges throughout her life she made friends everywhere she went; she loved to talk and laugh with her friends on the phone and was an enthusiastic Houston Astros and Rockets fan. Annette's family was everything to her and she loved them all dearly. Along with her mother, Annette was a long time member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Saint Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church and a member of the Ladies of Sacred Heart.
She is survived by her loving sisters and brother-in-laws, Rosalie Anna Campise and husband J. Leon , Michelene Campise and husband Paul Alan; her nephews, Leonard J. Campise and wife Jami; Michael T. Campise and wife Jacquelyn; great-nieces and great-nephew , Marissa Ann Campise, Joseph Michael Campise, Gianna Marie Campise, Isabella Grace Campise; step-great-niece, Megan Gilley; aunt, Pearl Rao; long time friends, Pat Sterns and Josie Defrancis; and numerous cousins and friends.
The family would like to thank Connie Mertins, her care giver for her dedication and loyal friendship; also, friends Marion and Bill Anderau for their help in taking Annette on the casino bus trips she loved so much.
A Mass of Christian Burial is to be offered at two o’clock in the afternoon on Friday, the 3rd of August, at the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, 1111 St. Joseph Parkway in Houston, where the Rev. Lawrence W. Jozwiak, J. C. L., is to serve as the celebrant. Prior to the Mass, during the one o’clock hour, the family will receive friends during a visitation in the narthex of the Cathedral.
A private interment is to follow at Forest Park Lawndale in Houston.
Honored to serve as casket bearers during Friday’s services are Leonard J.Campise, Michael T. Campise, Luke T. Rao, Charles A. Triola, Anthony J. Mandola, Joseph P. Altomari , Carl Mattaliano III, and Michael A. Defrancis.
