

Clair was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Ora Davis, her sister, Barbara Bates and an infant great-granddaughter, Haiden Gurley. She is survived by her sister Katherine Norton and husband H.P. and brother Frank Davis. She is survived by her children Beverly Wood and husband Gary, Janet Frenzel and husband Mike, Lucy Gurley and husband Larry, Bob Griffith and wife Peggy. She is survived by her grandchildren Erika Harms and husband Jay, Greg Allan and wife Cindy, Gary Wood, Jr., Jeremy Frenzel and wife Elizabeth, Aimee Frenzel, Russell Gurley, Adam Gurley and significant other Natalie Barlog, Lauren Vonas and husband Derek, John Griffith and Allison Griffith. She is survived by her great-grandchildren, Maddie Harms, David Harms, Ashley Springer, Thomas Frenzel, Josh Frenzel, Serenity Gurley, Landon Gurley and Faith Vonas. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Clair graduated from Memminger High School in Charleston, SC. After graduation she began her career with the federal government retiring in 1987. Following retirement she volunteered at the gift shop in Brackenridge Hospital for many years.
Clair's passions were dancing and traveling. She and Bob enjoyed many cruises and traveled extensively with senior citizen groups in the U.S. and abroad. They were members of the Austin Senior Activity Center where they danced several times a week to their favorite big band sounds.
She will be dearly missed by her family and friends, however, she is now at peace.
