On November 19, 1973, the sun rose with the birth of Anthony Charles Reeves to Tommie and Marvine Reeves. Anthony departed this life on April 3, 2025. He was baptized at a young age and re-baptized at Livingston Church of God in Christ. He graduated from Forest Brook High School and was currently attending Houston Community College.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Marvine Reeves; sister, Sandy Taylor; Shirley J. Reeves (stepmother); John and Beatrice Taylor (maternal grandparents); Naomi and Tommie Reeves (paternal grandparents).
Anthony leaves to mourn his passing, yet cherishes his memories; his father, Tommie J. Reeves Jr.; one daughter, Latifah Reeves-Calhoun (Cordelro); one granddaughter; Goldyn Calhoun.; sisters, Shellena Allen (Earnest), Cecelia Allen, Dreka Reeves-Ard (Tyrone), Sharon Phillips, April Reeves, Linda Reeves (Joseph), Angel Barber (Chris); brothers, Troy Jackson Jr. and Tedman Brown; sister-in-laws, Shelia Hayes and DeAndrea Hayes; step-daughters, Shanekia (Carl), Wynikia and Toranekia Henson; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
