Antonio Lopez, age 99, of Houston, Texas passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2024. He was born in El Barreal, Nuevo Leon, Mexico on January 10, 1925 to Margarito Lopez and Francisca Garza. Antonio was married to his loving wife Antonia Lopez for 70 years. Antonio had a passion for running in marathons throughout his life. He is preceded in death by his parents Margarito Lopez and Francisca Garza, Siblings Gabino, Jose, Generoso Lopez and Mercedes Jimenez. Antonio is survived by his spouse Antonia Lopez, children Silverio, Guadalupe and Elva Lopez. His grandchildren Derek Lopez, Christopher Lopez, Veronica Gonzalez and Nicolas Franco.
A memorial service for Antonio will be held Saturday, August 17, 2024 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 2516 Navigation Blvd., Houston, TX 77003. A vigil service will take place that afternoon at 4pm.
