Aristea Rivera Galvan

Aristea Rivera Galvan, age 59, of Houston, Texas passed away on Monday, July 29, 2024. Aristea was born in El Refugio, San Luis Potosi on September 3, 1964 to parents Epifanio Galvan and Audulia Rivera.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Victoria Martinez; father, Epifanio; aunts, Lucia Galvan, and Julia Torres; uncle, Venancio Galvan; cousin, Gloria Rodriguez, Isidoro Guerrero, and Reynaldo Trejo.

Aristea is survived by her daughter, Toni Galvan; son, Leonardo Martinez; grandchildren, Victoria Martinez, Sophia Nance, Emma Nance, and Abigail Nance; mother, Audulia Rivera; sister, Maria Del Carmen Galvan; siblings, Francisco Galvan, Maria Teresa Galvan, and Juan Salazar; 12 nieces and nephews, and 5 great nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers are Leonardo Martinez, David Junior Montanez, Davis Montanez, Juan Salazar, Ricardo Montanez, and Francisco Galvan.

A visitation for Aristea will be held Friday, August 9, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A prayer service will occur Friday, August 9, 2024 at 7:00 PM, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 10:00 AM, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A committal service will occur Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Fwy, Houston, TX 77039.
