Ashley is survived by her parents Jim and Kelly, her fiancé Mitchel, her fur babies Doug, Tiny, and Tot along with her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her fur brother Spaz.
Ashley was a very independent child who could easily go from the life of the party to entertaining herself for hours. She loved making those around her laugh and smile. Even as a young child she had an inquisitive nature that gave way to a creative mind. That creativity led to her growth into a resilient and strong-willed woman.
Ashley could find humor in every corner of life. She brought light and laughter into the darkest times. Her presence and energy touched everyone around her. No matter the situation, Ashley always stepped up to care for those she loved. She often put others' needs before her own, showing her true caretaker soul. This also carried over to her love of animals. Ashley always had room in her heart for another animal.
As Ashley grew older, so did her appreciation of life. She was daring and brave, never afraid to take on what life had to offer. Her experiences gave her the strength to take on each day as its own. Everyone could see the experiences she carried and her genuine heart just by looking into her eyes. Her outlook on life was one that held no regrets as she knew life on this earth was not the end of her journey.
"We are part of this universe; we are in this universe, but perhaps more important than both of those facts, is that the universe is in us" - Neil deGrasse Tyson (Ashley's favorite Astrophysicist)
