Ashley E. Rogers

Our sweet precious daughter Ashley Elizabeth Rogers, born April 30, 1997 in Katy, TX was called home by her heavenly father September 14, 2020 at the young age of 23. Her parents, Glen & Tonia, sister Katelyn and all the family are heartbroken over her sudden loss of life.

Ashley graduated from Mayde Creek High School in 2015. She worked at Stein Mart for a short spell while in school, then moved into childcare after graduation. She loved children of all ages and was so patient with them all. She was a true caregiver at heart.

Ashley’s love for her family and friends was felt by all. She and her sister were inseparable. They always had each other’s support and the love they share is so very special. A highlight in Ashley’s life was when her nephew Royce Kenneth Rogers was born. She loved him so very much and we know she will be watching over him as he grows up. Ashley’s smile was contagious and she could light up any room she entered.

Ashley was preceded in death by her “PawPaw” Donald Rogers, Uncle Ron Rogers, Grandad Larry McDaniel and Grandpa Mifflin Dove Sr.

She is survived by her father Glen Rogers, mother and stepfather Tonia and Mifflin Dove, sister Katelyn Rogers, stepsisters Kaylee and Bryleigh Dove, grandmothers Jeanette Z. Mc Daniel, Sharon Rogers and Sharon Dove, Uncle Trent and Aunt Joanna and family, Uncle Mike and Aunt Flora and family, Uncle Greg and Aunt Shelly Burkett and family, Aunt Debbie and Uncle Dennis and family, Uncle Chris and family.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ashley's memory may be made to GoFundMe to help with funeral expenses, gf.me/u/yzftqa. Any unused funds will be donated to the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital in Ashley’s memory.
