It’s hard to believe you have been gone for 10 years. You will never know how much you are missed. You were a great mother and a good listener.  I do not have a good listener anymore since you and Dad passed away.  Holidays are not the same.  Girls moved away with the grandkids and now it’s just the 3 of us all alone. The days are flying by now. The world seems very strange since the pandemic. I do not know if it will ever be the same.

         It has been 9 years today since you left us. You know I miss you and Dad so much. Life is not the same since you both passed. You both were the best parents ever. I think about you everyday and wish I could call you and talk to you about things. The girls have their on families and their plates are full so I don’t get to talk to them much. 
Britt graduated from U Of H last week.  She is very busy working all the time.  I wish there was a 1-800 number to talk to you ! Well RIP my Sweet Angel until we meet again. I love you Forever Momma!

You would be 84 today if you were still here with us. I think of you & Dad everyday and miss you both so much. You both would be so disappointed in our family right now. Since Dad passed things haven’t been good at all. Our family has fallen apart.  The girls are going through things in in their lives right now and I need to stay out of it. It is so so hard , because you just want the very best for your children.
As you know they just have to figure things out on their own sometimes just like I did. I remember when you & Dad tried to tell me things.
Well I guess I better go get the flowers ready to take to your grave.

Today marks year 7 since you left us here on earth. I still miss you every single day.  As convoluted as it may seem, this year I am actually thankful that you and Pawpaw aren't here to have to live through this mess called 2020. Its been crazy! We've had a global pandemic (Covid-19), a shortage of just about everything in the grocery store earlier this year, and so much craziness with this years election.  As if all the things in the world weren't enough, Mom also had a bad fall that resulted in surgery and then a horrible infection caused by the medication the doctors prescribed her. We were so scared there for a little bit, but she well on her way to recovery, Thank goodness!

Our little family is doing ok. I started a new job two weeks ago. I love it! The people are amazing and I get to do all the things I enjoy.  Jeremiah and Tyler are in high school now... time is flying by.  Anistyn is a 5th grader and so sassy! She's going to give me a run for my money for sure!

I hope some how these messages transfer to heaven. If not then once we are gone maybe someone will see them and share our stories of you and pawpaw.   Anyway, I love you! I miss you!

It has been 6 years ago today since you passed away and went to Heaven. It doesn’t seem like it had been that long ago, but life is really flying by fast now that I have lost you and Dad both,. I miss you two so so much, but a know you are in a much better place now. I just wish Heaven had a 1-800 number so I could call and talk to y’all sometimes. I know I will blink and I will be right there with you both. Stratton is in the hospital again with a bad infection again. I don’t know what I will do if I loose him too. Boo  is going to college to be a doctor and Cindy is enjoying raising teenagers and Brandi has two boys that keep her on her toes at all times. Things have been very challenging for Stratton and I, but the old saying goes God doesn’t give you more than you can take right?  Que Sera Sera! RIP my Sweet Angel! We will be together soon!

It’s Christmas Day 2019 .  I miss you and Dad so much. This is the hardest holiday I have ever had not having either one of you. There is never a day that goes by that I don’t think about you two. I know you both are in a lot better place  now. I love watching the Cardinals outside . I believe that is the sign you both give us. Life is really flying by quickly these days so I am sure it won’t be long until we meet again.  As I shed these tears I just want you to know you and Dad will always be in my heart. RIP my Beautiful Angel! Kiss Dad for me!

I’m sitting here watching The Fox and The Hound with Anie. Of course she’s not to enthusiastic about it, she says it’s old. Haha! I told her it came out the year her Daddy was born and she said, “That is old. Dad is 38!” 

Watching this movie brings back so many memories. I miss you and Pawpaw so much. I don’t even know where to begin. I don’t even think there are words to describe it. I’d like to think your right here with us tonight watching the movie, you’ve sure been in my mind the whole time. 

I miss you! Tell Pawpaw to be sweet! I love you both! 

It’s been two days since Pawpaw left us to go home. As greatful as I am to have had you and him in this life I sure do wish things could be different.  I miss you and I already miss him. I hope somehow I can find a way to accept this and move forward. I haven’t told the kids yet, and they will probably be upset with me, but I didn’t want to upset them with them still having to go to school. I hope you all had a great big party for him up there in heaven. I love you both so very much!

So much has happened over this past year, so many times I've just wanted to pick up the phone and fill your ear with all the good news. Then I think about it, and you must know. Then just to make sure you do I feel compelled to come here and write to you on this thing, like it's some magic portal to get messages to heaven.  

This year Jason and I bought our first house, I passed my exam, and today Brandi became a mommy all over again. His name is Waylon and he's absolutely beautiful!!! Kaine isn't too pleased, but I'm sure in time he will come around to the idea of being a big brother. 
I really miss you Mimi. I guess I just never really considered that one day I wouldn't have you anymore. In my mind you and Pawpaw are supposed to live forever, and I guess in my heart you will. 

I can't recall if I ever said it, but Thank you for being my Mimi. Thank you for loving me through all my crazy kid stages, my teenage insanity, and guiding me into adulthood. Thank you for being the worlds best grandma. I have so many wonderful memories that I will cherish always.

Moms it has been very hard not to have you with us. Yesterday was the 2nd Mother's Day without you. I hope you enjoy all the pretty arrangements I make and put on your grave. Dad told me he has been talking to you with all these bad storm coming here tonight. Please keep holding that cup for him. He misses you so much.  Your girls are all doing fine and Kaine is getting so big now. Sissy and Ty are all grow up also. Brit is off to college this fall. I woke up this morning with a heavy heart. Even after a year's time, we still haven't been able to fill the void of your passing. In the reality of things it's still such a hard pill to swallow that you're no longer down here with us. I certainly have plenty of moments where I miss the ease of calling to talk or driving over to spend the day with you & Pawpaw. I wish I would've done that more. There's a regret. But, in my heart of hearts I know you're here. I know that you know there isn't a day that passes that you escape my memory. I was never one for wearing much red until you passed. Red reminds me of you. 
I can still hear your voice. I hope I always hear it. I know you thought my earrings were pretty Christmas Day. Pawpaw thought they looked like horseshoes. You know he has to pick :)

I miss you. I relived this day a year ago a million times over in my head from the time I woke up this morning. I know these things are out of our hands but, I often wonder if it could've turned out differently. Maybe if you had let Pawpaw come sit and talk with you or if I had called that night on my way home like I wanted to. Maybe it would've snapped you out of it. Maybe not...

I always wonder if you could hear me singing to you that day. I held your hand to memorize how it felt against mine so maybe I'd never forget. I memorized your smell & your face. I so wish we could've just kept you here longer. 

I really hate when people minimize our pain because "people get older & pass & it's just life"... it makes me angry. You have never been just that plain & simple. You are our Mimi. You & Pawpaw have made a mark on our lives unlike anyone ever could. No one will ever understand the bond we all held. I should be allowed to cry a year later or 10 years later. I miss you every day & my heart aches when I let my mind wrap itself around the reality of your passing.

Pure honesty is what I've got to offer today. I've waited all afternoon, fighting back the lump in my throat, to get home where it's quiet after everyone is asleep so I can finally feel how I really feel. So I can let go of being strong & just be heartbroken.

Momma it is 1 year ago today that we lost you. Nothing has been the same since you have been gone. I think all of my holiday spirits passed alone with you. We will go spend the day with Dad so he won't be alone on this day. He misses you so much as we all do pretty lady. I will take care of him. You would be proud of him. Well me made it through Christmas. I kept telling myself that you wouldn't have wanted me to be upset, and that it is so very cool that you get to celebrate Jesus' birth with him in heaven.  I miss you so very much.  Looking back over the past year, everything seems so surreal.  I think I have found comfort in knowing that one day I will see you again.  Pawpaw still talks about you like your with him everyday, and I'm sure that you are. Mom could really use some reassurance that your still around... I know she misses you so much.  I love you Mimi!

Oh, Mimi!  I know that already you, Aunt Jeanne, and Aunt Glendora have been spending quite a lot of time catching up in heaven.  

I just wanted to tell you, that I love you and I miss you more than words can express.  I sure wish you were here with me.  Anie started school, and she loves it, although she won't admit it.  Mom is doing an wonderful job taking care of Pawpaw, and he's doing his best from day to day.  

Oh, I got us a pot belly pig over the weekend.  It's a little boy one... I saw him and it made me think of your trip to Branson, and all the pictures you brought home.  I just had to have him.  So now you've got a "great grand pig" and a "great grand goat".  We've got a little farm!  

Anyway, I love you and miss you so very much.  Save a spot for me up there, I will be there one day.

Momma today is the day we all have been waiting for. Your baby grand-daughter walks across that stage today. Yes she did it. Her pretty little face will be smiling as she gets her diploma and knowing you would be so proud of her, so as she walks across that stage today she will know you are there with her holding her hand. Since you've left us, normalcy is nowhere to be found in any of our lives. Five months have passed and there isn't one day that has gone by that I haven't thought about you. Sometimes, when I have a quiet moment to myself, the full weight of losing you hits me like a ton of bricks and I still can't believe its real. What I would give to have you back, even just for a day... I'll bet you're really getting a kick out of Kaine's antics these days. He is a real mess and he hasn't forgotten you for a second! I honestly believe you're with us more than Mom and PawPaw seem to think. There are too many coincidences for you not to be. Too many times that Kaine has asked "where Mimi go?" while we're playing, as if you were just standing right there and left the room. Please always let it be known that you're around and watching over us. It brings so much comfort knowing you're still here.

I listen to your voice on my cell phone over and over some days just so I can hear you. I have been trying to do my best with taking care of Daddy these days just like I promised you I would. It sure seems strange that I would turn to this page to write to you since you didn't every really like the computer.  I guess I just have hope that some how in Heaven you get all these messages.  I really miss you.  I think about you everyday and I wish I could hold your hand, hug your neck, or kiss your cheek one last time.  I wish I could hear your voice saying "I love you to baby" as I hang up the phone.  I always knew this time would come, but as prepared as I tried to be, I just wasn't.  I just miss you! Momma it has been a month today since you passed away to heaven. It hasn't been easy at all. I find myself wanting to pickup the phone and call you just to talk like we did everyday of our lives. They say everyday it gets easier with time I hope it really does, because right now there is not a moment goes by that I don't think about you. I don't have regrets and I don't have guilt because I know I tried to be the best daughter in the world for you. I tried to full fill  every wish you had that I could. Here we are nearing the end of January, we've made it almost a full month now.  They say it's supposed to get easier, but I don't see how.  With each day that passes I miss you more.  Sissy tells me all the time that she misses her Mimi. I just hold her and say, "I know baby, me too." Through all this our lives were made better because we were blessed to have you as our Mimi.  I wouldn't trade my memories for anything.  I will miss you forever.

Momma, I really never imagined it would be this hard without you. Dad and I and the girls have never stopped thinking of you for one moment since you left us. This is my beautiful Mimi. I have been blessed & am honored to have had her for my nearing 26 years. No words will could ever justify the impact she's had on my life as her grand daughter. Selfishly, I want to keep her here with us forever & it has broken my heart that the days of calling to talk to her or her asking me to pick her hair or paint her nails are over. I certainly miss her more than I knew I could miss another person. Heaven is pretty lucky to have such a wonderful soul. It's hard to believe that phone call I had feared for so long has come to pass.  Although it is very hard right now, I look forward to the day I can remember without tears filling my eyes. There will never be words to express how much I love you.  I am eternally grateful to god above for allowing me to love and be loved by you.  I am very blessed to have you as my Mimi.
