Barbara C. Scarbrough

Wife of Rodney F. Scarbrough. Daughter of Harry and Marguerite Asen (deceased).Barbara lived a life full of love and laughter. She passed peacefully with her husband and children by her bedside.

Barbara is preceded in the death by her daughter, Lana Frois and her son, Stephen Scarbrough. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Rodney F. Scarbrough; her daughters Lisa Collins; Gina Dickinson; Angela Hurbrough; Amy Christensen; and her son David Scarbrough. Barbara is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Sara Rush; Tara Scarbrough; Shane Smith; Christopher Collins; Dustin Collins; Matthew Collins; Rodney F. Scarbrough II; Joshua Dickinson; Ben Hurbrough; and Sam Hurbrough; as well as, 6 great grandchildren, Waylon, Carson, Hudson, Bryson, Boston, and Nolan.

Visitation will be held at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, Jan 17, 5-7pm with Rosary following.

Memorial Mass will be Friday, Jan 18, 2pm with reception following at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church 6646 Addicks-Satsuma Rd. Houston, Texas 77084 281-463-7878

Private family burial Friday.

Should friends desire, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to - Breast Cancer Awareness Avon Walk 2013 in Barbara Scarbrough's name.

Two of Barbara's daughters have supported this charity through their volunteering and she was very proud of the time and effort they both put towards ending this disease.
