Barney "Trey" Noble Williams III

Barney ‘Trey’ Noble Williams III, age 51; resident of Downers Grove, IL, sadly and unexpectedly left this world on April 9, 2020. Trey is survived by his four children for whom he possessed an undying love: Blake Williams, Alyssa Williams, Brandon Williams, and Joseph Williams.

Trey, a true Texan at heart, was born in Houston on December 11, 1968. A man of many hobbies, he enjoyed golfing, hunting, baseball, fishing and cruising around on his Harley. Trey had a passion for cooking traditional Southern dishes for his loved ones, and he never failed to create a memorable dining experience. His love for music ran deep, and he was a genuine blues aficionado. Trey's musical taste spanned across various genres and included artists such as Stevie Ray Vaughan, The Beastie Boys and Cake.

Trey owned and operated Williams Insurance Group in Downers Grove, IL. He left a lasting impression on numerous clients who admired his unwavering dedication and work ethic, earning him a cherished place in the memories of those he served.

Trey will be remembered as a conversationalist with a unique and infectious sense of humor that could brighten up even the dullest moments. He was a loving father, a faithful friend and truly made life richer and more enjoyable for those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

A celebration of life will be held in his hometown of Houston, Texas at Brookside Funeral Home & Memorial Park on Saturday, May 20 at 3:00 PM.
