Beatrice Turner

Ms. Beatrice Turner was born February 25, 1944 in Kohrville, Texas to parents Velma Whitfield Turner and O.V. Turner. Beatrice received Christ and was baptised at an early age by Rev. Solomon at Solomon Temple Church of God in Christ in Kohrville, Texas.

Beatrice graduated from Carverdale High School in Houston, Texas. She continued her education at Bishop College in Dallas, Texas in the year of 1963. Then, proceeded to NEC and completed a medical assisting course. For the last 25 years of her life she was a valued employee at Reach Unlimited.

What many admired about Ms. Bea was the love she had for her family and her willingness to always lend a helping hand.

Beatrice met and married Harry Williams in 1960 and to this union was born three daughters, Bridget Renee, Lisa Michelle and Fayneka Rochelle. She also had one bonus daughter, Yumeka Levier.

On Tuesday, September 3, 2024 she departed this life. She was preceded in death by her father, O. V. Turner; mother, Velma Turner; sister, Lillie Turner King; granddaughter, Regina McCullough; and one great- granddaughter, Gi’Auna McCullough.

She leaves to cherish her memories her four daughters, 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter whom she called, “Big Red”; and a host of relatives and friends.

A visitation for Beatrice will be held Thursday, September 12, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at First New Hope Bible Church, 5400 W Mt Houston Rd, Houston, TX 77088. The funeral services will immediately follow from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 5400 W. Mt Houston Rd, Houston, TX 77088. The committal will immediately follow Thursday, September 12, 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Paradise Funeral Home & Cemetery North, 10401 W Montgomery Rd, Houston, TX 77088.
