Betty Nowlin, born March 8, 1928, passed away at the age of 92 on January 11, 2021. Born in Troup (Cherokee County) Texas to Cleburn and Minnie Armstrong, she has been a Houstonian since 1943 where she went to work for Humble Oil Company and then Gulf Oil Company for 35 years.
She was a member of Westchase United Methodist Church and West Houston Medical Center Volunteers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Dorothy and her husband Eddie Campbell, grandson Keith and Tom her husband of 58 years. She is survived by son, Thomas Jr., his wife Jean, grandson Kevin, his wife Dana, and two beautiful great-granddaughters Megan and Ashlin, sister Gwen, her husband Dale Cowan and several nieces and nephews.
Interment will be at Forest Park Westheimer, Houston, TX. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to your favorite charity.
