Betty attended Reagan High School. She married Larry on February 10, 1955 and they soon began their family. They were married for 67 years.
Betty enjoyed traveling the United States and beyond but, was always ready to come back home and rest before the next journey began.
Betty loved her family with all her heart and soul. She chauffeured her children all over the Houston area to their sporting events and never complained. In later years she was chauffeured by her children to her grandchildrens and great grandchildrens events and loved every minute.
Betty is survived by her children: Ken Walling and wife Leslie; Lari Jo Bernstein and husband Randy; Mark Walling and wife Luanne.
6 grandchildren: Brandi, Rachel, Andy, Chad, Jamie and Chase
13 great grandchildren: Mason, Austin, Shelby, Melodie, Nereidy, Kylee, Mikayla, Rachel Dawn, Colton, Carter, Callie, Logan and Michael
2 great-great grandchildren: Addison and Adriana
Betty is preceded in death by her husband Larry and great granddaughter Kinley.
The lessons you taught, your laugh, your smile and your loving touch are what we hold on to. So many memories we will always cherish. It was so hard to let you go but, we know you are whole again in God's heavenly kingdom.
Mom, we will love you forever and find comfort knowing we will see you again.
