Bettyjo Dennis

Bettyjo was a strong-willed woman and devout Christian, living her life grounded in faith and a deep love for her family. She was a loving and devoted wife to Bill and a mother who was both strict and nurturing, always guiding her children and grandchildren with unwavering devotion.

Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, and she instilled in all of us the values of respect, honesty, love, and the will of God. Bettyjo had a deep love for gardening, as well as sewing, painting, and many other crafting projects, finding joy and fulfillment in creating beauty with her hands.

She is survived by her children: Sandra Ruetz, Margie Dennis, Clay Dennis, William Dennis and Sharon Beard. Her Grandchildren: Darren Dennis, Nicole Fox, Crystal Tillery, Caris Williams, Melanie Williams, Kyle Dennis, Ben Ruetz and Kirston Dennis, and was predeceased by her husband Billy Dennis and her grandbaby Khelijo Dennis.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will truly be missed.

A visitation for Bettyjo will be held Friday, January 17, 2025 from 10:45 AM to 11:45 AM at American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A celebration of life will occur Friday, January 17, 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:45 PM, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A committal service will occur Friday, January 17, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038.
