She volunteered most of her time at Houston Heights Tower Senior Living and planned, parties, activities and Thanksgiving dinners for the residents. She also volunteered at a half way house helping rehabilitate residents. She took great pride in assisting others. She was a breast Cancer survivor. She enjoyed playing her guitar, spending time with children and her beloved dog Coco.
She is survived by her sister Dolores Granillo, numerous nieces and nephews and her beloved friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm with a memorial service at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to the Susan G. Komen foundation.
