Brenda Wellman lost her courageous two year battle with cancer Saturday night, with daughter Rachal at her side. Brenda was born in Mobile, Al and grew up in Picayune, Ms. She was a free spirit, always looking for new adventures. She spent many happy years in Morgan City and Houston, working through floods and high water for J&J Marine Diving. And she made great friends in her lifetime, we will miss her but never forget her. We hate the cancer that took her life, but we thank our Lord for delivering her through pain and darkness. Brenda was proceeded in death by her brother Michael Taylor and her friend Ricky Casas. She is survived by daughters Rachal and fiancé Dayon, Christina and Alyssa and son Jason and grandchildren Dayon Jr, Devin, Brenique, Robert John, Matthew and Avareigh. Family members include sisters Cynthia Gomez. Catharine Watson, Millie Kiefer and brother, George Eric Ritchie. Cremation Services under the direction of Crespo Funeral Home - Broadway.
