Brent was a cherished son, devoted husband, loving father, and a beloved friend. He was the first of seven grandsons in the Littman family and one of many in the expansive Humphrey clan. Brent was deeply connected to his family, who included his late father, Ronnie, and his mother, Erica, both of whom devoted their lives to supporting and nurturing Brent throughout his journey.
Growing up in Katy, Texas, Brent enjoyed a fulfilling life. He attended all Katy schools and later pursued higher education at Texas A&M University. After completing his studies, Brent returned home and continued his lifelong passion for the restaurant industry, which began at the young age of 16. It was during his time at Papa Johns that he met the love of his life, Stephanie. Their bond was immediate and unwavering, and together they built a beautiful family.
Brent's larger-than-life personality allowed him to build lasting friendships at every place he worked, including Pei Wei, Freebirds, Logans Roadhouse, and most recently, at the Intercontinental Airport. He also found joy and camaraderie in playing pool and participating in tournaments, where he made many close friends who will remember his competitive spirit and warmth.
In addition to his work in the restaurant industry, Brent held a real estate license with Keller Williams, showcasing his business acumen and commitment to building a successful future.
Music was another significant part of Brent's life, and he cherished sharing it with his beloved wife, Stephanie, and their wonderful children, Nolan and Melanie. Their home was often filled with melodies that brought joy, laughter, and warmth, creating memories that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew him.
Brent's genuine spirit, kindness, and laughter will be profoundly missed by his family and friends. He leaves behind a legacy of love, friendship, and cherished moments.
A celebration of Brent's life will be held on Saturday, September 7th, at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, located at 12800 Westheimer Road, at Dairy Ashford. Family and friends are invited to honor and share their memories of the incredible man he was.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that friends, family, and associates honor Brent's legacy by supporting his young family. Donations can be made through Venmo to Stephanie at @Stephanie-Humphrey-69, reflecting the love and connection Brent fostered throughout his life.
Rest in peace, dear Brent. You were loved beyond measure.
