Bruce Michael Jones

Bruce Michael Jones went to be with his Lord on October 2, 2017. He was born on March 2, 1947 in Carlsbad, New Mexico to parents Grace Florence and Sam Douglas Jones. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Shirley Kathryn York-Jones; three siblings, Ron Jones and wife Debbie, Rick Jones and wife Beth, Samantha Wood and husband. Preston; nine nephews; four nieces; five great nephews; thirteen great nieces; one great-great niece; as well as numerous friends and other family members.

Bruce is a graduate of the University of Houston with a degree in Marketing. He had a lengthy and successful career as a Broker in the Real Estate market, and in Merger and Acquisitions negotiations.

The family extends many thanks to Dr. Jeffrey Lee, all of the staff at Autumn Leaves Memory Care, and Courtney Tuck with Compassus Hospice, for all of their amazing care, support, and compassion.

The family will receive friends for visitation Monday, October 9, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM; and a funeral service Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Family Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home; followed by a burial at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039.
