Carl Lynn Starling, 57 was born on Flag Day June 14, 1964 in Houston, Texas. He was the oldest of three children born to Melvin & Cora Starling. Carl was known as Uncle Buddy by his nephews and nieces and great nieces and nephew until his death on September 2, 2021.
Carl loved America. His first song he could sing was Glory Glory Halleluah when he was 4 years old. On his birthday every year it had to be a flag or red white and blue. He would smile really big when he would see his cake.
Carl had no enemies and had a great big smile and a thumb’s up for everybody. He loved music and would sit in his room for hours listening to it. If someone came to visit he would take them to his room to show them his collection. He was very special to his family as he loved to go camping, bowl, putt putt and Chuck E Cheese. He was even on the Special Olympics Bowling Team in Elementary. Carl loved to come cheer on his nephews and nieces at every function.
Carl is survived by his Father Melvin, Mother Cora, Sister Anita, Nephews, Nieces, Great Nieces, Nephew and many other Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends. He is followed in death by his Sister Pamela, Grand Parents and other close family members.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Brookside Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 pm. Services will be held Monday, September 13, 2021 at Humble First Assembly at 10:30 am.
