Carl Gene Castle

Carl Gene Castle, born on Thursday, July 31, 1947 to Lawrence Bartholemew Castle, Sr. and Juella Ettie in Houston, Texas. Carl met his future wife, Peggy Darline Pyle in 1973 and married her on May 13, 1975. For the next forty years you never met a man more devoted to his wife and family than Carl. They would go on to share many more joys, like the birth of their three beautiful daughters and three grandchildren. Carl and Peggy have helped countless others even when they didn't have much to give. They were an integral part of volunteering their time to help start Aldine Y.O.U.T.H. and also served by assisting at Hambrick Middle School. Carl was first off, a God-fearing man, a devoted husband, father and grandfather. His memories will forever be cherished by his wife, Peggy; daughters: Shelly & Mylinda; grandchildren: Corey, Ali & Dylan; sister, Carol; brothers: Ralph, Lawrence "Jackie" and Richard Castle; numerous nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his family and friends, especially those in the Aldine community. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Angela. The visitation will be from 1:00PM until the start of the Funeral Service at 3:00PM at Brookside Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
