Carl Paul Tangredi Jr. passed away in Houston, Tx on July 20, 2016 after 13 years of battling cancer, at the age of 66. He was born on November 5, 1949 in Beaumont Tx to Mary Barbera Tangredi and Carl Tangredi Sr., who predeceased him. Carl was a unique individual and loved doing things his way. He was bigger than life and could tell stories that would enthrall you. He was a magnet to children, who loved him and he loved them.
Carl Jr. loved cooking for his family and made the traditional spatini’s and rice balls every Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving’s will never be the same without him.
He met his soul mate, advocate and love of his life, Sherri Denise while at Crystal Beach. Carl never met a stranger. When he was serious about Denise, he wrote a warm loving letter to her dad, Mr. John Zemko , whom he had never met, about his intentions toward his daughter. He was a true renaissance man. He loved the Zemko family.
Denise & Carl enjoyed going to the beach and fishing with cousins, Jake & Judi Plaia, up until the time of his death. They were always there for the both of them. Carl had many friends who were at his side during the good and bad times, even going with him for therapy. Those acts of kindness will never be forgotten. Carl enjoyed his family and friends.
Carl Jr. is survived by his loving wife, Sherri Denise, daughter Koene Tangredi, granddaughters Tryistyn and Dyllyn, sister Phyllis Chirafis & husband Sam, brother, Bill Tangredi, sisters, Anna Rose Skelton-Tangredi & husband H.B., Fran Pharris, Cathy Drake & husband Danny and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is also survived by the Zemko family.
Death leaves a heartbreak that cannot heal, but LOVE leaves a memory that death cannot steal.
